Smear tests are available every three years to all women aged 25 to 64 years. However, certain conditions may necessitate more frequent tests. Smears may be taken by your doctor or one of the practice nurses during normal surgery or at well woman clinic. Please explain that you are coming for a smear test when making an appointment.
